About Me
My name is Mike Lawrence. I am, above all else, a follower of Christ. I have a passion for using my technical skills in ways that honor my faith and contribute to advancing His kingdom. This is why I enjoy partnering with ministries and mission-driven nonprofits to fulfill their web-based needs, creating digital spaces where connections flourish. At the heart of my work is the understanding that Christ remains supreme—technology is simply a powerful tool that can bridge gaps, bringing people together in fellowship and creating pathways for others to discover Christ’s message and meaning.
As a husband and father, I understand the balance of managing life’s responsibilities while pursuing meaningful work. By day, I work as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, but my passion for technology extends well beyond office hours. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping churches and ministries address their web design and technology challenges.
Throughout this journey, I’ve observed a concerning trend:
web solutions for small organizations are often either overly complex or far too expensive. My passion lies in finding the right balance—creating straightforward, effective web-based solutions that respect both your mission and your budget. I believe that modern web tools should be accessible to all, without requiring technical expertise or excessive resources to implement and maintain.
About Frumosity
Frumosity is the name I’ve chosen for this project. Giving a name to the project itself helps to frame my passion behind it.
The name comes from the Romanian word “frumos” (or “frumoasă” in its feminine form), which means “beautiful.” With a little bit of linguistic fusion, I ended up with “Frumosity” – a word that captures what I hope to create. This is, of course, the short version of a longer story.
The project itself is simple: I want to partner with ministries and nonprofits to enhance your web presence, one that supports your mission, invites connection, and honors the work you’re called to do.
